Kayden Lemire picked 112th overall by the Minnesota Wild

Kayden Lemire is the second Prince George Cougar to be selected in the 2026 NHL Draft, at 112th (fourth round) by the Minnesota Wild.

Lemire tallied 9 goals and 20 assists in 68 games this past season, with 4 points in 12 playoff games.

He joins former Cougar captain Riley Heidt, who was also drafted 64th by the Wild in 2023.

Carson Carels was the first Cougar off the list, after being selected 6th overall by the Calgary Flames.
