PG minor lacrosse needing volunteers ahead of provincial tournament

The Prince George Minor Lacrosse Association is needing some community help ahead of the BC Box Lacrosse Provincial Championships.

22 teams under U15, U17, and Female A2 and B will be taking part in the four day tournament, with the action at the Kin arenas.

Ryan Bachinski, who’s kid plays for the local team, said they’re urgently needing volunteers.

“I think we need at least 300 volunteers, and I think we’re sitting at about 100 or 150 right now.”

Some of the volunteer positions needed to be filled include security, runners, hospitality room, and registration and raffle.

The tournament will be taking place July 9th to the 12th.

More information, and where to sign up, can be found on their Facebook page here.
