A new national partner is on board with The Canada Winter Games.
Konika Minolta announced the five-year partnership, and they will also serve as supplier for short-track speed skating at Kin-One.
Marketing Vice President Vincent Gathier says Konika Minolta brings a technical expertise to the sport.
“Short track speed skating is a very technical sport, but it’s very fast and very exciting, and it’s ever-changing. We felt that that was a nice tie-in to what we do. We’re dealing with technology that changes every day, it’s fast changing. One day you’re the leader, next day you’re not. If you don’t watch every step, you can fall.”
With the national partnership, Konika Milota will also be a presenting sponsor for the next three individual games.
