Prince George’s Annual Pride Parade is making its way through the downtown core this hour.
30 floats have signed up for this year’s parade, up six floats from last year.
Pride Past President Valentine Crawford says this shows the community is taking notice.
Crawford says even though Pride Week is gaining momentum there is still groups hesitant about getting on board with Pride.
He says they have never had sitting MLA’s or MP’s participate in the parade.
