The Prince George Spruce Kings played a simple game of addition by subtraction on Thursday.
The Spruce Kings received 18-year old goalie Tavin Grant from the Prince George Cougars and then flipped 18-year old goaltender Liam McCloskey to the Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
McCloskey has a 5.81 GAA in 4 games played this season with a .837 save percentage.
Grant suited up for the Kamloops Storm of the KIJHL last season and posted an 8-4 record with a 2.22 GAA and .922 save percentage.
Meanwhile, the P.G. Cougars also re-assigned forward Reid Perepeluk to the Major Midget Cariboo Cougars.
