A 48-year old Quesnel man is in custody following a robbery in West Quesnel Tuesday night.
SGT. Chris Riddle says a suspect entered a victim’s vehicle just after 11 o’clock and demanded money.
“The victim was able to provide the suspect with a small amount of cash and then the suspect forced him to drive to another location where he exited the vehicle which allowed the victim to leave the area and seek some help.”
Riddle says the victim was shaken up by the ordeal but not injured.
RCMP are recommending charges that include Armed Robbery and Forcible Confinement.
