Students getting to and from their activities within School District 57 will notice some improvements to bus service.
The BC Government re-announced on Thursday they are investing $688,000 under the Student Transportation Fund. The initial transportation fund was announced back in August.
The province says the money will ensure students are not charged for riding the bus and will provide additional service for activities during or after school hours.
Safety improvements will also be coming to school parking lots to help reduce traffic congestion.
All 60 school districts in BC all received funding for transportation.
