Weekend weather helps out fire crews

The weekend weather helped, but the Prince George Fire Centre still have some fires of note it is dealing with.

Rain allowed crews to make some head way with larger fires in the area.

Information Officer Jill Kelsh says the Mount McAllister fire has been re-mapped to about 16,000 hectares.

Kelsh says the Red Deer Creek fire is about 15% contained.

She says only four small spot fires were called into the centre over the weekend.
