Four people were injured last night in an accident involving a bus that was carrying Mount Polley Mine employees near Williams Lake.
RCMP confirm that they responded to a report of a bus rollover just after 6 o’clock about 15 minutes down the Bootjack Forest Service Road near the town of Likely.
Williams Lake RCMP and BC Ambulance responded along with Central Cariboo Search and Rescue.
Police confirm that two people were taken to hospital by ambulance while two others appeared to have suffered only minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
RCMP say the bus went off the road and down a 15-foot embankment.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
