Prince George City crews are continuing to repair a watermain that sprang a leak on Wednesday.
As a result, water flow will be shut off in the Southridge area of College Heights on Saturday, January 14th from 9AM to 4PM to install a new valve to prevent future issues.
The City says their work will affect nearly 450 residential structures; some will have low pressure, while those in higher elevations, like Vista Ridge, will have no water altogether.
An investigation has determined the process will also affect a school in the area, which is reasoning for the City’s plan to fix the problem on the weekend.
