Private schools not seeing increase in enquiries

With all the uncertainty around schools being back in session in less than two weeks, parents may be thinking about alternative education options for the children. But Cedars Christian Principal Curt Tuininga says the amount of people inquiring about private education is about average.

“A typical amount of people inquiring this time of year would be probably 5-10 families or so,” says Tuininga.

Tuininga says of those inquiries, only 10% would turn into actual registrations. He doesn’t predict the teachers’ strike to actually cause more parents to consider private education.
