Enbridge facing tough delays

The President of the Enbridge Pipeline project says that his plans for a 2018 start date are in jeopardy.

John Curruthers explained that they are still trying to convince groups that the pipeline will be a safe and responsible project.

MLA Doug Donaldson had this to say about how the province has handled the situation:

“Premier Clark has been very vague on this issue, it seems as if there is enough money on the table she’ll say yes to anything and that’s not what most people in the North West or the North want to hear”

Enbridge continues to be held up by the 209 conditions that have to met as well as heavy public and First Nations opposition.
