PG celebrates water this weekend

A day of showing gratitude to water will be held in Prince George, Sunday.

The Bank of Gratitude PG is holding a World Rivers and Culture Day near the train bridge on the Fraser Riverbank.

Organizer Danielea Castell says the day kicks off with a ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

“After that, people who are at the opening ceremony, or come to the event itself, are invited to just come and sit quietly on the riverbank and connect with the river in their own way,” she says.
