The Duchess Park Condors placed fifth out of 16, one spot higher than their ranking at the Provincial Girls Double-A High School Basketball Championship in Langley.
The Condors finished with a 3-1 record after an 84-62 victory over Okanagan-Mission in the Fifth-Sixth place game.

Duchess beat Westsyde 59-32 in its opener, lost in the quarter-finals to G.W. Graham 68-64, and beat Vernon 52-39.
South Kamloops outscored G.W. Graham 73-67 in the gold medal game.

The BC Junior Girls Basketball Championship also took place in Langley.
Duchess Park ended up 1-3, defeating Windsor 45-43 in its final game.

The Condors lost their first three games by scores of 48-34 to Kelowna, 42-35 to St. John Brebeuf, and 44-35 to St. Thomas More.
The Nechako Valley Viqueens ended up 2-2 and the PGSS Polars 1-3 after NVSS edged PGSS 44-40 in their final game.
Nechako Valley lost 57-25 to Kelowna and 39-21 to Cowichan in its first two games before outscoring Charles Hayes 52-39.
PGSSÂ lost 58-44 to Pacific Christian and 55-39 to Claremont before scoring its only win, 67-56 over Argyle.

The Duchess Park Condors Triple-A Boys and the DP Todd Trojans Double-A Boys compete Wednesday to Saturday at the Provincial High School Basketball Championships in Langley.
Both teams advanced after going undefeated in their zone tournament.
