Cariboo is on to the BC Major Midget Hockey League (BCMML) playoffs after finishing the 2017-18 season this past weekend.

The Cougars split their series on the road against the Okanagan Rockets in Kelowna, losing 4-1 on Saturday, and taking a 6-5 overtime win Sunday morning.

Forward Mason Richey tallied three points over the weekend (2G, 1A), eclipsing him as the BCMML’s new all-time leading scorer with 137 points (63G, 74A) in three seasons.

The Terrace product surpasses ex-Cariboo Cougar Eli Jarvis, who compiled 136 points from 2010 to 2013.
