Four projects in the Robson Valley received over $395,000 through the province’s Rural Dividend Program.
Community Futures of Fraser-Fort George is receiving $95,000 to develop the social economy by focusing on workshops and webinars to assist the non-profit sector.
The Dunster Community Forest is $100,000 richer as it will use the money to complete the inventory of its Community Forest Agreement.
Another hundred thousand has also been awarded to the Fraser Headwaters Alliance to implement the first phase of its East Twin-Chilako Trail upgrade.
And $100,000 will go towards the Village of McBride to support its Community Forests project.
