Local police requesting information for historical homicide in Prince George

Homicide investigators with the Prince George RCMP are still searching for information regarding the 2009 murder of Vernon Darcy Baker.

Nine years ago today (April 11th), the 44-year-old attended a home on the 2300 block of Victoria Street and informed the occupants he had been stabbed.

Emergency Crews and Police were called to the scene and Baker was taken to hospital where he later passed away.

If you have information on the homicide of Vernon Darcy Baker or about those who may be responsible, you’re asked to call the Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
