Natural Resources Forum BC Society established

A new Society created by the Natural Resources Forum BC will help support management and operations for the future of the conference.

The new Society consists of community, regional, and industry leaders.

“It has been a great honour to be a part of and host this event over the past five years, and I want to thank everyone involved who has helped build the event into what it is today,” said Prince George Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris. “With the addition of our new Society members, the Society has the leaders in place to not only help deliver a successful event in 2019 but to also provide stability for its future in our community and region.”

“The Society is mandated to support the resource economy in British Columbia by hosting the Forum not only to provide he sustained benefit of drawing national as well as international attention to the Province, to our region and to the City of Prince George but also to ensure that financial benefits will flow to local charities and organizations in the region.” Said Society Vice-President Terry Kuzma. “Based on your feedback at the 2018 Forum, the fees for both exhibitors and delegates will be reduced to ensure everyone can be part of this great event.”

More information surrounding the 2019 BC Natural Resources Forum will be released in the coming weeks.
