Charges laid in relation to stolen PG truck

Three people face charges following an incident with a stolen Prince George truck.

Alexis Chin, Jesse Juillette, and Travis Hennessy appeared in court earlier this week and will remain in custody until their next appearance May 14th.

All three face one count of Possession of Stolen Property. Chin and Juillette are also charged with Break and Enter. Juillette is also accused of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Flight from Police, and Driving while Prohibited.

Shortly after 5pm on Friday, May 9th, a Police Dog Services member from PG saw a vehicle driving erratically along Highway 97, potentially putting other motorists in danger. Police learned the Ford F-350 pickup was stolen from the northern capital; the Alberta licence plates on the truck were also reported stolen.

The suspects were eventually caught by Williams Lake RCMP after two spike belts were deployed, the vehicle came in contact with a police vehicle, and the three occupants tried to run away on foot.
