Aboriginal Head Start program are receiving $30 million in funding by 2020.
The PG Native Friendship Centre is looking to take advantage, already applying for new centres.
“Our hope is to open an infant-toddler centre and two multi-age centres, so we’re looking at 28 children altogether.”

The funding is being split between the AHS Association of BC and the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA).
