Members of the public will have a chance to meet some legendary Cougar alumni.
The seventh Annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament is hosting a meet & greet at the CN Centre where photo opportunities and an autograph session will take place.
“We will have over 30 alumni that are going to be attending this year. ten new alumni are going to be showing up,” says Gary Samis Tournament Chairperson.
“I think this is the second largest we have had but in terms of the last couple of years a great number.”
At the event, they will be unveiling a wall feature with all old alumni on it.
“People like Eric Brewer, Dan Hamhuis, Zdeno Chara, Dustin Byfuglien. It’s a feature wall that will be permanently installed to recognize the past alumni that have gone into the NHL and we will continue to add to the wall as more players make it to the NHL,” says Samis.
The Alumni Meet & Greet starts at 4PM today and runs until 5PM.
