The Prince George Surg Med Knights have repeated as Baseball BC Midget Double-A champions.
The Knights beat Ladner 13-4 in the final of the five-team tournament to qualify for the Westerns.
Meanwhile, the PG U-15 AA Knights placed second out of three teams at the Baseball BC Provincials dropping the final 2-1 against Tri-City.

Prince George Cougars goalie Taylor Gauthier blocked all 16 shots he faced in helping Canada to the come from behind victory.
Canada trailed 2-0 at 11:33 of the first period when Gauthier replaced Nolan Maier of the Saskatoon Blades after Maier surrendered two goals on three shots.
The Canadian team enjoyed period leads of 3-2 and 4-2 to capture gold for the 22nd time in the 28-year history of the tournament, including 10 of the last 11.
Gauthier concluded the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup with a 1.11 goals-against-average and .943 save percentage in two games played.
Calgary Hitmen assistant coach Jason LaBarbera of Prince George was the Canadian goaltending consultant.
Saskatoon Blades head coach Mitch Love of Quesnel was one of the Canadian assistant coaches.

GOLF:
U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka won the 100th PGA Championship in St. Louis, for his second major title of the year and third of his career.
Koepka closed with a 4-under 66 to finish at 16-under, for a two-stroke victory over Tiger Woods who posted a 64 for his lowest final round in a major.
Adam Scott was third, three shots off the pace.
The 28-year-old Koepka is just the fifth player to win the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in the same year.
He now is No. 2 in the world, with a chance of overtaking Johnson later this month when the FedEx Cup playoffs start.

The (53-64) Blue Jays finished 2-4 on a six-game homestand.
Toronto starts a seven-game road trip tonight in Kansas City.
The Jays play four games against the Royals followed by three against the New York Yankees.

In his second CFL start, Alouettes quarterback Johnny Manziel was 16-for-26 for 168 yards with no touchdown passes and no interceptions.
