WATCH: RCMP Crisis Therapy Dog “Max” is retiring after 35 dog years in PG

WATCH:

Crisis K9 Therapy Dog “Max” is retiring after five years, 35 in dog years, with the Prince George RCMP.

Max was the first full-time professional therapy dog with the RCMP in Canada and the first to go to court with a child victim in BC.

“Max and I have done a lot of work together now over the years and just trying to build other people up and have the confidence to do this kind of work as well.”

Max also helped mentor therapy dogs across BC including Williams Lake, Kitimat, and Powell River.
