WATCH: Brett Connolly shares Stanley Cup with fans, young hockey players

WATCH:

PG native Brett Connolly brought his new friend ‘Stanley’ to the CN Centre, sharing the experience with thousands of people.

The 26-year-old wanted as many pictures as possible with young hockey players & fans as a ‘Thank You’ for helping him start his NHL journey.

“The fans have been very happy and respectful, and it means a lot to me to see everybody come down and support me. There’s a lot of people here that have supported me for a very long time.”

He becomes the third PG Cougar to hoist hockey’s holy grail, alongside Zdeno Chara & Dustin Byfuglien.
