The Prince George School Board election has one more candidate.
Sarah Holland has put her name into the mix, highlighting the importance of the public education system and the role it has in making children become “educated and well-adjusted citizens”.
Holland volunteered at Parent Advisory Councils since her first child started kindergarten at Austin Road Elementary, Heather Park Elementary, and Duchess Park Secondary. She started attending District Parent Advisory Council meetings and volunteered with executives working on the website, serving as treasurer, vice-chairperson, and chairperson for four years.
A financial planner in her work life, Holland also has previous volunteer experience serving on the Prince George Library Board.
The election date is October 20th.
