PRINCE GEORGE COUGARS:

Kelowna Rockets  4  Prince George Cougars  3  (Saturday OT)

Nolan Foote scored at 43 seconds of overtime on the power play.

It was the Rockets third goal of the game with the man advantage (3/5).

The Cougars went 1/3 on the power play.

Josh Maser, Jackson Leppard and Ryan Schoettler tallied for Cats.

Taylor Gauthier made 29 saves as each team fired 33 shots.

Kelowna is 2-0 since Adam Foote took over as head coach.

The 5-6-1-2 Cougars are third in the BC Division, one point ahead of the 6-10 Rockets and two points in front of the 5-6-0-1 Kamloops Blazers.

The Blazers won Saturday night 6-2 in Portland.

The Cougars host the Brandon Wheat Kings on Tuesday with a special start time of 6:30.

Ben Brar scored his league-leading 15th goal and added an assist.

Brar has 11 points, including eight goals, in his last five games, all on the road.

The 12-5-0-1 Spruce Kings visit the 9-7-1 Salmon Arm Silverbacks this afternoon.

The Spruce Kings are third in the Mainland Division, two points behind the Coquitlam Express and three back of the Chilliwack Chiefs.

This was the first playoff victory in U-Sports for UNBC in women’s soccer.

The Timberwolves play the second place Thunderbirds today at noon at UBC in the quarter-finals.

NBA:

The 6-0 Toronto Raptors, off to their best start in franchise history, visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

The Bucks are also 6-0.

They are the only two unbeaten teams left in the NBA.
