Cougars trade Kjemhus to Moose Jaw

Kjell Kjemhus has played his last game with the Prince George Cougars.

The Cougars traded the 17-year-old forward to the Moose Jaw Warriors in return for a seventh-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

In 28 career games with the Cougars, Kjemhus had two goals and six points.

This season, he only played in five games picking up two assists and 14 penalty minutes.

The Grande Prairie, Alberta native was acquired by Prince George from the Regina Pats in January of this year.

The Cougars roster sits at 23 players; 13 forwards, eight defencemen, and two goaltenders.

Prince George will visit the Portland Winterhawks Friday and Saturday to begin a stretch of 11 straight road games.
