He has served as the colour commentator for Prince George Cougars home games for 12 seasons. Hartley has been a fixture on the airwaves since 1979. He is the author of You Don’t Say, a collection of his most memorable sports quotes. Hartley is married with two children and four grandchildren.

Garbage collection to go back to normal on December 1st, City says

The City of Prince George says garbage collection will be going back to normal starting next week.  This follows Friday's announcement that the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George and CUPE 1699 ratified a new collective agreement, ending weeks of job action.

Operation Red Nose is a go starting Friday

"Any Friday or Saturday between now and the 21st, plus on New Years Eve, if you find that you're out and you need to get your car home afterwards, give us a call," said volunteer Garth Frizzell. 

Spruce Kings drop overtime decision to Capitals

It's not the ending to the five-game road trip the Prince George Spruce Kings wanted as they fell 3-2 in overtime to the Cowichan Valley Capitals. 

Cougars pick up win over Oil Kings on Cougars Fight Cancer night

"Real proud, that was a fun game, that was an excellent game," said Cougars Head Coach and GM Mark Lamb on the post-game show on 94.3 the Goat.
