The Prince George RCMP responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 97 near Stoney Pit Road, south of the city yesterday.

It happened just after 10 AM where a man driving a southbound pickup truck crossed the center line and made contact with another vehicle with two women inside.

Both females in the other vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, all occupants were wearing seatbelts and speed and alcohol are not considered factors at this time.

Black ice is being blamed on why the driver of pick-up lost control.

The highway was closed for a brief period of time before re-opening to traffic.
