Across BC, more than 85,000 people are currently living with dementia, and that number is projected to rise sharply in the coming years. The Walk is the Alzheimer Society of BC’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing communities together to honour and remember people affected by dementia while raising the funds needed to deliver vital local programs and services.

Here in Prince George, the Walk will be held on Sunday, May 31st at the YMCA of Northern BC, 2020 Massey Drive. Registration starts at 1:00 pm, with the opening ceremony beginning at 1:30 pm. \
