The inaugural Prince George Metal Festival will take place May 29 and 30, 2026, at Legion43, with a two-night lineup featuring local talent, northern connections, and heavy hitters from Vancouver and Edmonton.
Built around Prince George’s growing place in Western Canada’s metal scene, the festival brings together hometown act Deveined alongside regional and out-of-town bands with strong underground reputations. Vancouver bands Terrifier, MVLGRAVE, and Shattered Throne add major weight to the bill, while Edmonton’s Quietus brings veteran experience and a long-standing presence in the western metal circuit.
Friday night will be headlined by Cocaine Moustache, widely known as one of Canada’s most entertaining party bands. Saturday closes with Vancouver thrash force Terrifier.
Festival organizers say the event is about more than two nights of music. It is about giving Prince George a stronger voice in the heavy music community and bringing together bands with ties to Northern BC, Vancouver, Edmonton, and the surrounding region.
Tickets are $35 for one night or $60 for both nights when purchased together. Tickets are available at Grow King Hydroponics.
