Nine people were arrested in Prince George this morning (Monday).
At around 10:30, PG RCMP and the North District Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Chilako Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation.
Throughout the morning and before police attended, a number of people arrived and departed the residence in vehicles.
When the third vehicle was pulled over by frontline officers, one of the passengers was identified as 38 year old Eric Vern West, who was wanted on a number of charges stemming from a shooting incident that occurred in Prince George earlier this spring on the 2200 block of Quince Street.
A search of the vehicle found drugs and a firearm, RCMP say West will appear in court later today.
