Jack Sander scored twice leading Team Black to a 5-3 win over Team White to claim the Rob Charney Cup, during the Prince George Cougars’ annual intrasquad game at CN Centre.
His two goals were part of a four-goal middle frame for Team Black after both teams were tied 1-1 after the first period.
Filip Koffer, Craig Armstrong and Kyren Gronick also lit the lamp in the win.
Cole Moberg, Connor Bowie, and Johnny Herrington scored in defeat for Team White.
Several returning players did not dress for the game, including Taylor Gauthier, Ryan Schoettler, Ethan Browne, Jackson Leppard, and Josh Maser.
The Cougars begin pre-season action on September 6th when they take on the Kamloops Blazers in Langley.
