Just before noon on Saturday, emergency services received a report of a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Foothills Boulevard and Chief Lake Road.
Officers attended and found a pick-up had collided with an SUV. The adult male driver and a child were removed from the SUV and transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the pick-up, a 38-year-old male from Prince George, was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Detachment for further investigation.  He was later released on a Promise to Appear in court on a future date.
Vehicle traffic in the area was affected for about 3 hours while officers gathered evidence from the scene. The investigation is continuing.
