Police in Prince George responded to a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound at a home on Irwin Street.
Just after 6:30 AM on Saturday, officers spoke with the victim who was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The scene of the shooting was in the parking lot of a local credit union at the corner of 5th Avenue and Central Street.
Investigators are looking to the public for help in identifying the people involved.
Police believe this was not a random incident and occurred due to a disagreement between the victim and a small group of suspects.
