In a nutshell:

NHL:

–The Vancouver Canucks are ready for the Western Conference semifinals. The Canucks open the best-of-7 series against the Vegas Golden Knights this evening (Sunday 7:30 PM PT) in Edmonton. The other Stanley Cup playoff game tonight has Boston against Tampa Bay (5:00).

–The Philadelphia Flyers and the Islanders begin their Eastern Conference semifinal Monday (4:00 PT).

–The Dallas Stars top line of Alexander Radulov, captain Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin combined for eight points to lead the Stars to a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche in the opener of their series. Game two will be played Monday night at 6:45.


NBA:

–The Toronto Raptors go for a sweep of the Brooklyn Nets today (3:30 PT). The Raptors lead the first-round series 3-0. Toronto is 10-1 overall in the Orlando Bubble.

–In the late NBA game Saturday night, the LA Lakers beat the Portland Trail Blazers 116-108 to grab a 2-1 series lead.


MLB:

–The Toronto Blue Jays win streak is over at six games. The Tampa Bay Rays edged the Jays 2-1 in 10 innings. The two teams meet again today (10:00 am PT) in Tampa. Toronto is 13-12 after 25 games.
