Applications for second round of Emergency Community Support Fund now open

United Way of Northern BC is supporting the additional investment of just over $288,000 into Northern communities and has opened up applications for its second round funding of the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF).

“Charities and non-profit organizations are at the heart of our communities, helping the most vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 crisis,” said  Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development.

“The Government of Canada is pleased to support these organizations through the Emergency Community Support Fund so that they can continue their invaluable work,” he added.

The Federal government is administering the funds in collaboration with United Way Centraide Canada, Community Foundations of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross.
