NFL:

–After starting 11-0, the Pittsburgh Steelers have lost three straight. In the second major NFL upset in as many days, the (3-10-1) Cincinnati Bengals raced out to a 17-0 halftime lead and went on to beat Pittsburgh 27-17. The Steelers entered Monday’s game as 14.5-point favorites. Including the LA Rams’ 23-20 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, Week 15 marked the fourth time in the Super Bowl era that two underdogs of 14-plus points won outright.


NBA:

–The NBA regular season tips off with a pair of games tonight (Tuesday): Golden State at Brooklyn followed by the LA Clippers at LA Lakers. The Toronto Raptors, in their temporary home in Tampa Bay, begin on Wednesday when they host the New Orleans Pelicans.


Hockey:

–The WHL has rescheduled its 2021 Draft (previously referred to as the Bantam Draft) to December of next year. The Draft was originally set to take place in May.
