Luke Toporowski has played two games for the Kamloops Blazers.
He was named the first star in both which were against the Prince George Cougars.
On Saturday night before 2,957 fans at the Sandman Centre, Toporowski snapped a 2-2 tie at 4:50 of the third period to help the (24-11-1) Blazers to a come-from-behind 3-2 victory.

His goal came just 38 seconds after Connor Levis tied the game for Kamloops.
The 20-year-old Toporowski was acquired from the Spokane Chiefs on Monday, which was trade deadline day in the WHL.
On Friday, he scored twice and added an assist in a 5-1 victory at CN Centre.
The Cougars on Saturday trailed 1-0 after one period but took the lead with second period goals from Ethan Samson (power-play) and Cayden Glover.
Ty Young was the best Cougar as he made 45 saves as Kamloops outshot Prince George 48-25, including 18-2 in the first.
Prince George started the game with 15 skaters but defenceman Jonas Brøndberg left the game early in the first period and did not return.
The Cats played much of the game with five defencemen and nine forwards.
Hunter Laing, the Cougars’ second-round pick in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, made his WHL debut Saturday.
The (17-19-1-1) Cougars play their next six games in the U.S. starting Friday against Taylor Gauthier and the Portland Winterhawks.
Prince George is 3rd in the B.C. Division and 6th in the Western Conference, two points ahead of the (16-17-2) Vancouver Giants.
