Bailey Peach and Tyler Palmer provided the one-two punch for the Victoria Royals in their Saturday night 3-0 victory over the slumping Prince George Cougars.

The 21-year-old Peach took care of the scoring with one goal in each period, completing the hat trick by putting the puck into an empty-net before 3,093 fans in Victoria.
The 18-year-old Palmer made 35 saves to earn his third shutout of the season.
Palmer stopped a combined 75 of 77 shots over the two games on the weekend as the Royals swept both.
Victoria beat Prince George 6-2 on Friday in the provincial capital.
Tyler Brennan took the loss in net blocking 25 of 27 shots.
The Cougars power play, which had scored a goal in each of the last eight games, went 0-4 on Saturday. The penalty kill was 2-2.
The victory moved the (19-34-5-1) Royals into 7th place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the (20-34-2-1) Cougars and (19-34-4-1) Spokane Chiefs.
The same teams play again next weekend on Friday and Saturday in Victoria.
The Cougars, who have lost 9 of their last 10, have 11 games remaining, the Chiefs have 10 left and the Royals have nine to go.
Prince George is 8-3 in 11 games against Victoria this season.
The Cougars are 4-21-1-1 against the top five teams in the Western Conference and 16-13-1-0 against the other four teams in the Conference.
