NHL: (Final game of the regular season)

Winnipeg Jets  4  Seattle Kraken  3

Former PG Cougar Jansen Harkins picked up a pair of assists for the Jets. Harkins had 13 points (7 goals) in 77 games.

The (40-30-12) Vancouver Canucks finished 10th in the Western Conference with 92 points, five points out of a playoff spot.

The Canucks were 32-15-10 since Bruce Boudreau took over as coach.

The Stanley Cup playoffs will start with 4 games tonight: Tampa at Toronto (4:30 PT), LA at Edmonton (7:00), Boston at Carolina (4:00), and St. Louis at Minnesota (6:30).

The PG Senior Lacrosse Association begins a new season this week.

The opening game, scheduled for 8:00 tonight at Kin 1 between the Devils and Assault, was postponed due to a lack of referees.

There are five teams in the league, including one each from Quesnel and Mackenzie.
