Vancouver Giants 6 Everett Silvertips 3
The Giants win the best-of-7 first-round series 4-2, becoming the first eighth-seeded WHL team to knock off a top seed.
It was the biggest upset in the opening round as Everett finished 47 points ahead of Vancouver.

The Vees lead the best-of-7 Interior Final 3-0 with Game 4 Wednesday in West Kelowna.
Tonight in the BCHL, the Nanaimo Clippers visit the Langley Rivermen. The Clippers lead the best-of-7 Coastal Final 2-0.
The two series winners will meet for the Fred Page Cup.

The PG Senior Lacrosse Association regular-season opener was postponed.
The PG Devils game against the PG Assault, which was scheduled for Monday, was called off due to a lack of referees.
The league will now start Wednesday night at 8:00 at the RMCA with the PG Bandits against Quesnel.
There are five teams in the league, including one each from Quesnel and Mackenzie.
