Logan Bairos scored at 2:30 of overtime.

Ethan Samson scored the Cougars Teddy Bear Toss goal at 5:15 of the second period before 4,627 fans at CN Centre.

Hudson Thornton notched a goal and two assists for the Cats, who erased a 3-1 deficit with seven minutes remaining in the third period to force overtime.

The (14-15-3) Cougars, who have dropped seven straight, are 5th in the Western Conference as of the Christmas break, two points behind Everett, one point ahead of Vancouver, two points in front of Tri-City, and four ahead of Kelowna.

PG will play its next game in Kamloops on Dec 30th before hosting the Blazers on Dec 31st.
