Hockey:

The Prince George Cougars have announced the departure of Associate Coach Josh Dixon, who was the right-hand man for Head Coach/G.M. Mark Lamb for the past two seasons.

Dixon will be moving to Ontario after accepting the job as Head Coach of the
University of Guelph hockey team in U-Sports.

The PG Cougars have the 45th pick in the 2023 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

The online draft, featuring all 60 CHL teams, will be conducted Wednesday starting at 8:00 a.m. PT.

Major League Baseball:

Batting in the third spot, first baseman Jared Young of Prince George went 0-for-4 for the Chicago Cubs in an 8-6 Monday afternoon loss to the Brewers in Milwaukee.

In six regular-season games with Chicago this year, the 27-year-old Young is 4-for-17 at the plate for a .235 batting average with one homer and four RBIs.

The (38-45) Cubs visit the (46-39) Brewers again this afternoon (1:10 PT).

The (45-40) Toronto Blue Jays start a 3-game series tonight (5:10 PT) against the (37-49) White Sox in Chicago.

CFL: (Final game in Week 4)

Toronto Argonauts  45  B.C. Lions  24

B.C. quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. threw six interceptions, three of them to  Robertson Daniel, who returned one for a touchdown.

It was the first loss of the season for the (3-1) Lions, who will host Montreal Sunday afternoon at 4:00.

The (3-0) Argos are the only unbeaten team in the CFL after four weeks of the season.

Tennis:

Canadian Leylah Fernandez won her first-round match at Wimbledon and is moving on while another Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime suffered an upset loss against American Michael Mmoh.
