Prince George residents will be given the opportunity to have their say on next year’s budget in-person.
At last night’s (Monday) meeting, Prince George City Council unanimously approved hosting three budget consultation sessions this fall.
One would be held in College Heights, one in the Hart, and one at the Civic Centre.
“We have had lots of feedback over the last term and into this term about community engagement going back into the neighbourhoods,” said Councillor Cori Ramsay.
Financial considerations for the sessions would include venue rental, materials and supplies, and staff overtime.
No dates were set for the sessions.
