BCNE Fall Fair set for Wednesday

The 103rd BCNE Fall Fair is fast approaching.

President, Alex Huber says this year’s event will feature a little bit of a twist.

“With it being the city’s centennial we are going to have a five day fair this year versus a four day fair, Wednesday is “Sneak Peak Day” with free admission.”

Huber says they created a monster last year with the arrival of Bob Blumer to the Northern Taste Market and this year is expected to be no different.

“Last year it was sort of a Pandora’s box we opened with people now expecting him to return every year because we had so much fun last year with all of the local chefs in the two kitchen set up.”

Huber adds admission rates have been slashed along with the removal of another item.

“Kids 11 and under are free, adult rate we have dropped from 15 down to 10 bucks and also we have gotten rid of the parking, no more paid parking.”

It will also mark the return of the Great Northern Rockin’ Rodeo which takes place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Gates open at 10am on Wednesday and wraps up on Sunday at 7pm.
