Spruce Kings shut out by Vees again in game two

The Prince George Spruce Kings are coming back to the Northern Capital down 2-0 in their opening round series of the BCHL Playoffs.

For the second night in a row, the Spruce Kings fell 3-0 to the Penticton Vees.

Charlie Zolin was the only saving grace for the Spruce Kings as he made 42 saves on 45 shots in the loss.

The Spruce Kings only mustered 13 shots at the other end of the ice.

Connor MacPherson scored a pair of goals for the Vees, while Simon Meier added one on the powerplay.

2,674 fans attended at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Games three and four will be played at Kopar Memorial Arena on Tuesday and Wednesday.
