Cougars slip back to .500 after loss in Kelowna

The Kelowna Rockets scored the last three goals of the game to beat the Prince George Cougars 5-2. Dillon Dube tallied twice and added an assist for the 8-4 Rockets. Brogan O’Brien and Jared Bethune had the goals for the 5-5 Cougars who continue a four game road trip Sunday afternoon in Vancouver.

–In the BC Female Midget AAA Hockey League, the Greater Vancouver Comets scored on a power play with 44 seconds left in the game to double the Northern Capitals 2-1. The same teams meet again today (Sat) at 4:30 at Kin 1 and Sunday morning at 8:15 at CN Centre.

–The UNBC men’s basketball team lost 99-45 to the University of Alberta in an exhibition game Friday in Edmonton.
