The UNBC Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball teams went a combined 1-3 during its Okanagan road trip.
The Lady T-Wolves dropped to 0-4 after a 70-49 defeat tonight (Sat) against the UBCO Heat.
After trailing 32-31 at half-time, UBCO outscored the Timberwolves 38-18 in the second half.
Hannah Pudlas led the team in points with 14 after 33 minutes of playing time.
Shenelle Tamminen was the top scorer for the Heat with 12.
UBCO’s bench outscored UNBC’s reserves 34-16 in the game.

On the men’s side, the T-Wolves split their two game series after falling 78-57 to UBCO.
Rhys Elliott led UNBC in points once again with 16 while Collin Plumb chipped in with 11.
The Heat kept Billy Cheng in check holding him to just 1 point in 26 minutes of playing time.
Aldrich Berrios led UBCO in points with 32.
UNBC falls to 1-3 on the season.
Both teams are back in action next Friday and Saturday when they host the Fraser Valley Cascades at the Northern Sport Centre.
