Blackburn residents can look forward to an update to the community park over the summer.
The City said in a Facebook post that Blackburn Park will be getting a new surface, four pickleball courts, a basketball and tennis court.
It added the washroom will also be getting a major upgrade.
The improvements are budgeted at $750,000, and will be funded by the Canada Community-Building Fund and the City’s general infrastructure fund.
Construction is expected to be wrapped up by the end of summer.
